Nominee Name: Ken Teichroeb
Occupation: Small Business Owner
Home Community: Carrot River, SK
My name is Ken Teichroeb. I am happy to call Carrot River home. I have operated a small business in the Carrot River area since 2007. I have been happily married for almost 30 years, and currently have two children pursuing secondary education, one in Alberta and one in China. TIm Hoenmans was born, raised and educated in Melfort before convocation from the University of Saskatchewan. He has served on Melfort City Council for the past eight years and is a Mine Geologist in northern Saskatchewan. Previous experience with the assessment management agency and city council means a firm understanding of the relationship between taxation and funding.

Nominee Name: Mark van Haastert
Occupation: Rancher
Home Community: Bjorkdale, SK (rural)
My name is Mark van Haastert, my wife and I live on a cattle operation in the RM of Barrier Valley, 10 miles west of the Village of Bjorkdale, where our three children attend school. I've lived in the Tisdale/Bjorkdale area my entire life, I attended school for K-12 in Tisdale and finished off my schooling with a diploma in agriculture at the U of S.
For the past 10 years I've served on the school community council in Bjorkdale and this has given me multiple opportunities to have interactions with the NESD school board and I have realized how important it is to keep a good connection with all schools in the division.
I would like the opportunity to serve on the NESD Board to help ensure that our children continue to receive a quality education.
Thanks for you consideration.
